I’m sure I’ve said this the last two times I’ve read this series, but… are we getting close to the end? I am absolutely aware I could look this up since it’s a webcomic, but I really do love reading a chunk of the story every 6 months or so.
And it’s not that I’m not enjoying it anymore! I definitely am! I just don’t know when it ends.
Also a reminder for the trigger warnings before you dive into this series.

You know, I never thought I’d have a cowboy era. In fact, when cowboy romances became a thing, like last year, I was certain that it was not my jam.

Sara, my friend, thank you for changing my mind and making me give these books a chance.

I do have to say that the ebook version I have of Elsie Silver’s Flawless is not this cover. I have the cover with the real people on it. Which I have a viceral reaction to every time I look at the cover on my iPad. But it’s fine. I guess. The story makes up for it. Also, there’s literally nothing I can do about it. (Unless someone know how to hack the Kindle app and change the covers??)

But back to the book. Who knew that bull-riding would be so hot?? Because I’ve seen it in real life and this book has corrupted my memories.

OK, hear me out. Heartless by Elsie Silver is NOT on my TBR. But since it’s book two in the Chestnut Springs series, and book one IS on my TBR, then it still counts. Right??

In all seriousness, I may just smash through this series, and then maybe read some book club books. I would like to tick some more books off my December TBR, but I think I said if I read 8 books off the list it would be a success. And I’ve basically read four already. And we’re only a third through the month. So I can divert my reading time. RIGHT??

Let’s be honest, I’ll just mood read my way through the rest of the month anyway. I may hit a spike of motivation and try to read some more books off my 2024 challenge list, but I’m also not fussed if I don’t finish any of the challenges at this point.
