Honestly, I’ve just been working, traveling, and then catching up on sleep since last week. Although the 9 hour overnight plane ride was EXCELLENT for me to catch up Zodiac Academy whatever number that was. (My brain is like a sieve when it comes to ZA titles and numbers. I know I just looked it up for below. There’s just no retention for that info.) The turbulence just really kept me going even though I was exhausted… 😅

House of Crescent City 3 (names are really eluding me at the moment 😂 and while I could have updated it after adding the image, I decided not to) came out yesterday, so I am absolutely in the midst of smashing this out this week. Can’t be seeing spoilers for that.
While I was waiting, I did start the second book in Elle Kennedy’s Prep series, Rogue. Reading the start was how I thought CC3 was going to be — a lot of names and very little context of what they meant, but there’s been some filler reminders, which is nice.
Honestly, I need to start on my 12 in 12 challenge, and my 24 in 24 challenge, as well as continuing to tick books off my backlist. I also still need to post those two challenges… LOL
Maybe I’ll start with The Falconer, or maybe something else will take my fancy. But whatever it is, I will definitely^ be picking something off my February 2024 TBR.
From memory I also added a book from my top 5 books I will definitely* read in 2024 onto the February TBR. Maybe it’s time to really start kicking goals this year.
* definitely does not actually = definitely. It’s more like a maybe if I feel like it, but I have been recently inspired since so many of my fellow T5Ter’s have been posting that they either did or nearly met their quota. I was feeling shamed for a couple of days… enough to add a book to my TBR anyway 😂
^ I should definitely stop using the word definitely when referring to books that I will read…

It’s super cute, and very cosy 💕 Highly recommend if you don’t need a lot of action and are ok with journal entry styles of books.
