February 2024 TBR

Hello friends!! Welcome to the February 2024 TBR. A post where I will attempt to intuit what I feel like reading for the next… 29 days. Because it’s a leap year!

Nothing is impossible on leap day… including reading from my TBR!

Surprisingly, I actually read quite a few books in my January 2024 TBR. Which I may or may not recount in a monthly wrap up… Another type of post I haven’t written since 2022…

So, with all of that mood reading to look forward to, let’s build a TBR for February 2024.

So, to start us off, I need to add 2 books from my 12 in 12 challenge, because I didn’t have it finalised in time for my January TBR. I also haven’t posted it on the blog yet, nor my 24 in 24 challenge (February goals…). All of that is 36 books, which is about a third of my annual reading goal. Which means I really need to get started on them.

I’m also going to drop off some of those books I’ve been reading for a while. My plan is to only keep 1 or 2 of them, as opposed to making it a third of my TBR. That’s not reasonable for a mood reader, and I ended up just not wanting to read them at all.

I’m keeping some of the books I didn’t read in January. And I’m adding lots of FUN books. I was thinking of theming the month (February is romance, March is Middle Grade, etc.) but then I don’t want to be hampered by it if I decide I want something different. So the plan is to go WIDE reaching, and see how that all ends up at the end of 2024.

I’m keeping it as 10 books so I can try and hit my 100 books early. It worked for January, so I’m not complaining!!
