January 2025 TBR

Hello friends!! Welcome to my January 2025 TBR. A post where I will attempt to take my best guess at what I will feel like reading for the upcoming month.

It’s a new year, and therefore a new me! Only joking. I will continue to be my usual mood reading pest. However, I would like to be *slightly* more accountable in 2025 about it. Partly because I enjoy ripping on myself. But also because I asked on threads what you all would like to see in my wrap up posts this year. Which I plan to start doing again in 2025. And the lovely DB responded with “How many times you said you’d read a book that month… And then didn’t“. Brutal. But, totally deserved because I do that ALL the time.

Anyway, that’s enough about my somewhat plans for 2025. Let’s go see my TBR for Januaryv 2025. That I genuinely hope to stick to. Fingres crossed!!

January 2025 TBR

OK. Let’s get cracking with 2025.

• The Romance Revelry Society book club is doing an Empyrean readalong to get ready for Onyx Storm‘s release. Thankfully I still have to read Iron Flame, so that ticks one book off my TBR.

• The Bookish Collision’s book club pick is When the Moon Hatched, which I thought I had a hard copy of, but if I do, then it’s in the pile of books on the floor in my room that I can’t get to… yet. But, I do have an ebook copy, so I can read that anyway.

• DB and I will finally be reading The Witch King, which is on our buddy read plan. Or non-plan. Anyway, we’re reading it in January.

Aside from all of this, I’ve picked a couple of other books that I can take with me when I travel for work later in the month. (Did I pick books based on vibes and colours? I’ll never tell.) (But also, yes.)
