NOTE: OK, so our main girl Merit is probably more of a general food fan — however, the length she goes to in describing a cheesy pizza in these books made me sad that we didn’t stop at Chicago on our US trip last year purely for the pizza.

I could probably live with the grumpy bastard so long as I could stay at one end of the hobbit hole and he at the other, with minimal interactions unless it was to ask if the other would like a tea refill.

NOTE: OK, I fully just gave up at this point. BUT, I do own this book (I own most of David Thorne’s books to be honest), AND I have read it. Plus it has cheese in the title. I do not remember the cheese story in this one though. But that’s probably because I read it in October 2019. And who remembers anything that happened pre-COVID? No one. That’s who. Also, this book has the worst blurb I’ve ever seen on Goodreads, so you just get me writing crap here to fill up some space. Sorry. David Thorne IS hilarious though, so that’s a solid plus.
