Hello friends!! Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday — 5 June 2024!!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, where you answer the three following questions:
What did you recently finish?
What are you currently reading?
And, what do you think you’ll read next?
Let’s see what I have been reading… (All images will link to Goodreads if you click on them. Potentially.)

Ahhh… despite all of my best intentions, I did not read anywhere near as many books as I was expecting. Of course, last week I thought I would finish the month off smashing out a handful of short books: novellas, short stories, graphic novels, etc. Basically anything on my TBR spreadsheet that had less than 200 pages was fair game. And read one, I did. But that was it!!

Umm, what in the world of delightfully wicked adult fantasy horror did I read?! This was SO GOOD!! It’s a fairytale retelling, so right up my alley, but wow this was just so much better than I anticipated!!
Obviously, I still haven’t finished any of the below books. HOWEVER, I am very close to the end of The Prisoner’s Throne. In fact, I’m expecting to finish it either tonight or tomorrow. So that’s very exciting!! Fingers crossed I’ll at least tick that one off (but also hopefully HMRC as well)!!
Ahh well… while I was off work for two weeks with my back, I went on a Kindle shopping spree. Also a Nintendo store shopping spree. I was very bad while I was very bored…
So, I have a lot of books that I could add on here. However, I think I’d like to read Fangirl Down by Tessa Bailey. Not that I have any love of golf whatsoever, but a friend has assured me that it’s barely mentioned at all. And as it’s now winter here, and I’ back in the office, I need something delightful to entertain my brain.
Although, I do also have a June TBR to get cracking on… It could well be time to try The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I could not even tell you how many years that book has been sitting on my bookshelf. But, I do feel like it’s going to be a bit more grittier than Tessa Bailey.
I do have a long weekend starting in two days though!! Sounds like the best time to get stuck into some books!!
