Good morning bookworms!

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

So, without further ado, let’s get started!


This past week I did The Reading Rush! And I read books! Not books that were on last week’s TBR… but I did find books that fit some of the prompts, so that was good!

So, the wrap-up of the read-a-thon went like this:
Reading Rush stats including pages read per day (1103 total) and total books finished (4)
Which means….. I got a couple of badges!!! HUZZAH!!! (Also, how amazing are badges?!)
The Reading Rush badges I earned: 2019 Reader, Read a book with purple on the cover, Read a book in the same spot the whole time, Read a 5 star book, Read a book you meant to read last year, Read an author's first book, Read over 1000 pages (7 total)
So, I am calling this a success!

Ugh… I picked up 4 different books after I finished Freshmen, and just… none of them took!! It was really disappointing… BUT, I’m not adding them to my list otherwise we’ll be here for WEEKS!! They were more like… samples? ?

I am signing up for ARC August!! Expect a sign up post… soon?? Anyway, you know how this goes. ARC’s take priority this month!! (Which is a third of my currently reading, so expect to see movement on them!!)

    I’M SO JEALOUS OF YOUR COOL BADGES!!!! XD & I’m so happy you read Kiss Quotient, I loved Stella and Michael so much. the plastic container scene made me so nervous though, she was being so rude and she didn’t know she was being rude, then she felt so bad for being rude, THE STRESS

      Hahahahaha, the plastic container scene appealed to me because I would have been thinking it and internalizing it, but would have just politely eaten 2 bites and then freaked out at home!!

    OMG, you’re currently reading SO MANY books, I really admire you, because I’m that kind of person who cannot concentrate on so many plots at the same time, luckily, I can read 2 at the same time ?
    I hope you enjoy all of them, honey, and have a BEAUTIFUL AUGUST! ?

    Oh my god, you’re reading so many books at once. ? HOW. I can read up to 4 or 5, and then start to feel nervous about dividing my time like that haha. I’m super-curious about a looot of what you’re reading – Siege and Storm to compare notes, and then Bloodlines because I loved it back in the day, but I’m unsure how I’d feel today. Stepsister, Eleanor Oliphant and Ace of Shades, because I want to read them, and need motivation. ?
    I’m currently reading three books, but two of them (Marie Kondo’s book + Percy Jackson in Spanish, because I love to torture myself, I guess) I’ve been reading for months. ? The one I’m actively reading is a romance novella, Desire and the Deep Blue Sea, and it’s good so far. 🙂

      Oh, I’ve barely moved on most of them in ages… it’s why I started putting the % read on them (for accountability for myself!!) but it hasn’t worked. I’m no more motivated to continue reading than I was before… also, I’ve heard DEV1AT3 has a killer cliffhanger ending, so it’s not motivating me to read any further!! ?
