WWW Wednesday – 3 February 2021

Hello book friends!! Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday – 3 February 2021!! We’re just posting it a couple of days late… as per everything in my life right now.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, where you answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

what i finished

Conventionally Yours by Annabeth AlbertSo in the two weeks since I’ve done this… I’ve read two books. Which means that I am already behind on my Goodreads goal for 2021… I really just need to find some time in my life right now!!

Book 1 was Conventionally Yours by Annabeth Albert. It’s a queer contemporary novel full of nerd games, anxiety and pretending to be a different person. It also had an enemies to lovers romance, a road trip, and a ‘there’s only one bed’ disaster, so obviously I loved it!!

A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid KemmererThe second book I read was A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. I actually had a really hard time finding this in local bookstores, so I had a friend express mail me a copy from Melbourne. Needless to say that I devoured the entire book in 24 hours. This is the third and final book in the Cursebreakers trilogy. It was everything I wanted and possibly more. And, I didn’t see any of the twists coming until they were just about to happen. I laughed, I cried, I screamed. It was a TIME.

The World Between Blinks by Amie Kaufman and Ryan GraudinI am still reading The World Between Blinks by Amie Kaufman and Ryan Graudin. It’s super cute and I’m really enjoying it, but the closer I get to the end, the more convinced I am that this is going to end in a cliffhanger, and I am NOT here for this. So, I may be putting off finishing it, but I will get there this week.

I’m also going to try and finish Kingdom of Sea and Stone by Mara Rutherford this weekend as it’s been haunting my TBR for almost 6 months!!

what's up next

You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah JohnsonI finally have NO plans this weekend!! So if I finish those two reviews books above, then I’m giving myself a break from ARC mountain for one book. I think I’m going to finally read You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson. Writing my Top 5 Tuesday last night got me all excited to read this one again. Plus, I might also throw in a graphic novel (or two) to boost my Goodreads goal!!

Additionally, I *still* really need to start on either The Land of Stories books by Chris Colfer, OR The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. I’m going to put a poll on Instagram later today, so please vote and help me decide!!

What are you currently reading??

until next time, happy reading! Meeghan xo
