So, I’ve had a WEEK since last Thursday. You may have noticed that I haven’t posted anything since my last update. It’s not intentional. I just haven’t had time to do anything because life and work continue to slowly kill me. I did make time to make cupcakes though, because sometimes you just need chocolate cake in your life.
I’m still doing my OWLs (as per my TBR post)… and I am so close to hitting all the prompts I need to!!

I’m curious to know what you think of The Night Country! I read The Hazelwood a while back and was always on the fence about picking up the second book.

I was the same. Did it need a sequel? Probably not. But I’m really happy with what I’ve read of Finch’s chapters. He hasn’t had a lot yet (and I must admit I haven’t picked it up for a bit) but it’s still got that lovely almost creepy atmosphere to it!! Now that I’m thinking about it, I really want to read it again!!

I’m currently reading Archenemies by Marissa Meyer! I’m not too far into it, but I like it so far 🙂 And I’m planning to read Vengeful by VE Schwab next 😀

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! It’s all a façade!! I just like spreadsheets… I never follow through with my TBR (I read 3 of 9 books I picked for April, and that was a record), and I’m heading the same way with May!! I will very much not hit my Backlist goals for this year, but I’m so glad that you think I have my sh!t together!! ?
