WWW Wednesday – 27 April 2022
Hello bookworms!! Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday — 27 April 2022!!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, where you answer the three following questions:
- What did you recently finish?
- What are you currently reading?
- And, what do you think you’ll read next?
Let’s see what I have been reading!

20 – 26 April 2022

I am on holidays this week, which meant a frantic Thursday / Friday cleaning, washing clothes and packing. Followed by a VERY early alarm on Saturday at 4am, and a flight at 6am. We’re visiting family that we haven’t seen for over a year, hence my sporadic posts.
But, before we left, I managed to finish Hana Khan Carries On by Uzma Jalaluddin on Wednesday. Which I positively ADORED. I can’t wait to read more books by her, and I picked up a copy of Aesha At Last after finishing this one.
But, with everything else happening, this was all I managed to finish last week.
I only brought two books with me this week, as I wanted to limit my options to ensure that I finally started Midnight Sun this week. It is the last book on this month’s TBR, so I am looking like I will actually complete an entire planned TBR for maybe the first time in my life.
Although, reading Midnight Sun is the torture-fest that I was expecting. I’m VERY over Edward monologuing every minute thought that pops into his head. It’s also making me question the book timeline vs the movie timeline, which I never have before, as it was years between me reading them. I would say that I will reread Twilight to verify, but I honestly cannot commit to that. I might cry.

I am treating myself after I finish Midnight Sun with shiny, new books from my April haul. It’ll be my reward for actually finishing this monstrosity of inner dialogue. So, this is what I have on my new list:
- A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder #1) by Holly Jackson
- The Atlas Six (The Atlas #1) by Olivie Blake
- Social Queue by Kay Kerr

What are you currently reading?

I bought an ebook of The Atlas Six ages ago – last year sometime? But I just got a hard copy version last week. And I bought A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder on Tuesday. So keen for both!!

Yeah, I am in the second half of MS and I am STRUGGLING. Whyyy is it 756 pages long?? Twilight wasn’t even half of this (actually it might have been 400 pages-ish, but still)…
