Uhhh… so this chest infection that I’ve had for like 10 days now… is going nowhere. It still feels as bad as it did a week ago and I’ve just been given antibiotics this week. (Look, I get over prescribing and doctors wanting to cut back, etc. but I don’t have an immune system because we deliberately kill it off every 8 weeks so I don’t get sick from my immune system eating away my internal organs, so maybe antibiotics for someone like me would be helpful since I can’t fight off sickness?!)
ANYWAY… I’ve been so sick that every time I picked up Sorcery of Thorns (I read 12 pages in a week) and ADSOM (like, 3 pages in a week) I basically fell asleep… Note to self: Fantasy and world-building rules are not good reading when sick. So, I’ve been reading semi-fantastical contemporary instead!

I loved the bloodlines series SO much!! (Or is that one a vampire academy book?) Anyways.. I loved them both. I have a darker shade of magic and American Royals on my TBR

The Golden Lily is the second book in Bloodlines series!! I just love Adrian and can’t wait to read more. I had bought this one a while ago, but I didn’t have books 3-6, so was waiting for them to arrive before jumping in!!

I totally feel that! I am holding off on the last book in a few series until I get more books from the same authors. I loved bloodlines more than vampire academy just bc I loved adrian so much
