WWW Wednesday – 21 Nov 2018

Hello booknerds! Welcome to WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

What I recently finished reading…

This week I finished the heart-breaking They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, and the latest in the Corinna Chapman mystery series by Kerry Greenwood: The Spotted Dog.

I’m not sure I’ll write a review for The Spotted Dog. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the previous books in the series…. I’m guessing this is because I now read so much more than I used to, and it’s the first new book in this series in a number of years. I was kind of disappointed actually. But, who knows, maybe I will get around to it!

What I am currently reading…

Look Alive 25 by Janet Evanovich! Full disclosure: I am trash for these trashy chick lit/comedy/crime books. Stephanie Plum is basically a friend to me at this point. Ultimately flaky in personality, but the books have this consistency that I’m sure infuriated some, but it’s like a security blanket to me. Long live the Stephanie / Ranger / Morelli love triangle!

What I think I’ll read next…

This is definitely up soon on my TBR because I’ve got the monthly Discworld read-a-long due on the last Monday of the month (which I think is next week?). I probably won’t be giving it a high rating as we all know how much I dislike Rincewind… but because I thought the storyline to Equal Rites was Sourcery, maybe I haven’t read it before?? Or I’m just really confused!!

Sourcery

I must say, this new weekly posting about what I’ve been reading is definitely helping me stick to my TBR! I feel like it’s making me accountable, so I’ll be interested to see a wrap up of my reading schedule next year compared to my monthly TBR, as compared to the horrendous wrap up that will happen this year (where I still haven’t read books that I meant to read this year)!

So, there you have it! What are you currently reading?

Let's chat!
