WWW Wednesday – 17 February 2021

Hello book friends!! Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday – 17 February 2021!!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, where you answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

I had drafted this post to schedule earlier today… but sometimes my scheduler hates me. And of course it happened on a day when I was trying to sleep off a migraine. Classic!!

11-17 February 2021

what i finished

The Deal by Elle KennedyThe Deal by Elle Kennedy is the first book in the Off-Campus series, and one of the nicer college sports romances I’ve read. Am I making my way back to reading lots of these?? Probably not. But I also know that I can smash through them quickly as they hold my attention. This one was surprisingly sweet though. I’ll probably keep going with this series.

Perfect on Paper by Sophie GonzalesPerfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales was AMAZING – such a fantastic queer contemporary YA romcom of a book. My review on this is coming in the next couple of weeks (release date is 9 March in Australia). My elevator pitch is it’s Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda x Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) x The Brightsiders. And if that doesn’t make you keen as mustard, then I don’t even know what you’re doing on my blog. Because, as all Aussie’s will tell you, we’re not here to fuck spiders.

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J MaasLet’s be honest, A Court of Silver Flames came out yesterday. It’s the only thing I’ve been reading since I got my hands on a copy, and it’s now my number 1 priority. I neeeeeeeeed a great Nessian story. Like, I feel that in my bones.

Other books I am currently reading are:

  • The World Between Blinks by Amie Kaufman and Ryan Graudin
  • Kingdom of Sea and Stone by Mara Rutherford

what's up next

The Mistake by Elle KennedyI know what I *should* be saying here… but in all reality, I’m probably going to go back to my ereader just because ACOSF is a bloody heavy book to hold. Which means it’ll probably by The Mistake by Elle Kennedy, book 2 in the Off-Campus series.

Repeating from the last few weeks, I *still* really need to start on either The Land of Stories books by Chris Colfer, OR The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. I’m going to put a poll on Instagram later this month, so please vote and help me decide!!

What are you currently reading??

until next time, happy reading! Meeghan xo
