WWW Wednesday – 16 Jan 2019

Good morning bookworms!

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

What I recently finished reading…

A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You guys remember that “what I’ll read next” from last week? I didn’t read a single book on it. #classicmeeghan

I did however read some books! #winning! (#kindof)

  • The Wicked King by Holly Black (?‍♀️ buddy read)
  • How (Not) To Kiss a Beast by Elizabeth A. Reeves
  • How (Not) To Kiss a Ghost by Elizabeth A. Reeves
  • How (Not) To Play With Magic by Elizabeth A. Reeves

What I am currently reading…

*Ah-hem* I may or may not still be reading (procrastinating) Pratchett… why is this taking me so long?!?! Also, I seem to have an unusually high number of books on the go, but just hear me out, ok, there are REASONS.

  • Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett – (80%) ok, yes, this is just laziness…
  • The Summer of Jordi Perez by Amy Spalding – (20%) you see, I wanted something to break the edge off all the fantasy I’ve been reading lately
  • Pyramids by Terry Pratchett – (10%) I started this so I could meet this month’s deadline
  • A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer – (50%) this came in the mail yesterday from Bloomsbury Publishing, and I just had to start it immediately because it’s one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I didn’t think I was going to get an ARC of it, so I was SO EXCITED when it came. Also, I was right, it’s not an ARC, it’s actually a FINISHED COPY!!! (<— still excited!!)

What I think I’ll read next…

Wellllllll, I should probably finish the above first, but then I could try the below (again) to see if they’ll stick this time? Also adding in the Grishaverse books…

  • Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
  • Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
  • Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella
  • Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
  • Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

Happy reading! ??
