WWW Wednesday – 14 Nov 2018

Hello booknerds! Starting from last week, I’m taking part in WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

What I recently finished reading…

As of last night, I finished Grim Lovelies (review to come) and on the weekend I did finish my reread of Mort! Yay!

Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd was interesting to me. Usually in a fantasy novel, I have some understanding of where the plot is going. In this one, I had zero idea. It was fun though, a little slow in some places, but a really great story.

What I am currently reading…

I am currently between books… but last night after I finished Grim Lovelies, I did pick up an Adam Silvera novel: They Both Die at the End (my first of his stand alones) to pop on my bedside table. (I know, I know… it’s not on my TBR. I’m awful!)

They Both Die At The End

What I think I’ll read next…

I’m hoping to smash through They Both Die at the End, and then I will go back to my TBR. Because it’s getting warmer, I am feeling more contemporary-ish (and my book haul this month will absolutely confirm this), but I am keeping The Spotted Dog by Kerry Greenwood on my list because I do want to go back to these amazing mystery novels! Corinna Chapman is my baking/sleuthing spirit animal!

I also really want to read Pride by Ibi Zoboi because I’ve been hearing some really good things!!

What’s on your lists?
