Normally this is when I would jump right in… however friends, I have an apology to make to you all first. I AM SO SORRY!! I am very behind on blog-hopping. Not just a couple of days behind, but weeks behind. I have about 400 blog posts to read and catch up on. Which is kind of crazy. Now, I have started this process, and if your blog name starts with A or B then I might be caught up now… but the rest of you, I’ll be there before Christmas. Hopefully! But that doesn’t mean I don’t love you or that you don’t make valuable content, because I do love you, and you do make valuable content! This is a me things, not a you thing… just personal circumstances getting out of hand. But this penguin is my motivational speaker for the next month, or until I have caught up:
I am technically on holidays this week, but after work last Thursday / Friday nearly killing me, and then frolicking at the beach on our mini break for four days… well… actually I’ve read two books so I can’t complain too much!

(Also, yes, I’m saying that it’s light-hearted even though it now has “Stephanie Plum thriller” written on it… these are not thrillers!! They are fluffy romance mysteries with car bombings and murder…)
I definitely have some books to read next now that I have had some deliveries over the weekend!! However, last week’s list looks pretty good… (not that I’ve read anything on it… but I have reshuffled it and removed books I don’t have in my hands yet…)

I can’t wait to start Winterwood. I love Shea’s writing so much. I’ve heard so much raving about Serpent and Dove I need to read it.

Yes!! I picked up my copy of Winterwood yesterday and it looks amazing!! I can’t wait to read it.. in 3 books time!!

I quite liked it. The ending blew my mind. It has so many implications and I just want to read the third book, but I need to read a bunch of others too!!

Aww, it’s totally fine. I’m also behind, and I feel bad a little cause I’m just reading and liking most of the time, rather than actually commenting, but…at least I’m catching up? It’s okay, you don’t have to be sorry about it ?
I didn’t know there was another Steph Plum book coming out. Lol, the series will probably never end, and yeah, adding “thriller” to the cover does not make it a thriller at all. I hope Steph didn’t get her car blown up again. Happy reading!!

?? There was definitely a car destroyed!! However, I think we might be coming to the end of the series. Steph was surprisingly self-aware of her limitations and how she needed to make actual life decisions. And the next one in not going to be “something 27”, instead it’s called Fortune and Glory. I’m kind of excited!
