Good morning bookworms!
Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
So, without further ado, let’s get started!
I finished a book! A review book! A FANTASY book! Huzzah!
Key: ? physical book | ? ebook | ? audiobook | ? webcomic
- Darkwood – Gabby Hutchinson Crouch (4⭐️ – thanks Netgalley) ?
AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! What do you do when you’re in the middle of reading two books? You add more, of course!! (Oh gawd… What is wrong with me?! ?)

One addition of a new book I received from Netgalley… Plus… I’ll probably grab another audiobook for the 8 hour drive to Canberra on Friday… but which one?! *suggestions welcome*

I just need to finish reading them!!

Oooh can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The Scorpio Races!! I feel like it’s an outlier among Maggie Stiefvater’s works, but no less amazing.

Oh, this is like my third (fourth?) read. But the first time I’ve listened to it on audiobook. It’s much better than I was expecting (but I have low expectations…)
I actually listed it as my fave book of all time yesterday on my Top 10 list!! ?

yay for finishing a review book! (and here’s hoping the fantasy slump has been vanquished, or is at least in retreat ⚔)
multireading personally stresses me out, but I am in awe of people who can manage it. and of course it helps to have variety (in both genre and format) to keep it all straight. recently I DNF’d No Fences in Alaska because I could not muster enough sympathy for the MC to keep going, but I hope you enjoy it more than I did.
I think Shadow and Bone or Aurora Rising, or any book with travel / adventure components, would make a particularly nice roadtrip read / listen!

I haven’t read any of these books except We Hunt the Flame, which I’m currently reading (so far it’s okay). I guess I’ll have to suggest that 🙂 I’ve also heard a lot of great things about Aurora Rising! Good luck with all the seven books you’re currently reading ❤
