Hello bookworms!! Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday — 10 January 2024!!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words (I am honestly just assuming that Sam still hosts this), where you answer the three following questions:
What did you recently finish?
What are you currently reading?
And, what do you think you’ll read next?
Let’s see what I have been reading… (All images will link to Goodreads if you click on them. Potentially.)

Ahh, it’s so nice to only have to do a week’s worth of reading in these!! Makes it so much easier!! Now I just need to keep up with the weekly posting schedule…
Also, amazingly I’ve been keeping to my January 2024 TBR… what a great start to the year!!
So, my main book at the moment is The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary. I’ve made a couple of pages progress with Duet with the Siren Duke, but it’s not holding my focus like the other books in the Married to Magic series. Although, I still plan to finish them this month.
I don’t have The Brothers Hawthorne, and The Final Gambit came to a pretty good ending, so I’m pausing on reading more of this series here.
I think I’m in the mood for fantasy again (and in summer, no less!), so after I finish my current romance, I think I’ll hit Bookshops and Bonedust by Travis Baldree (cozy fantasy), or Mortal Follies by Alexis Hall (historical fantasy).
Every book I’ve read so far in 2024 has been a 5 star, and I really loved Legends and Lattes, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I will also love it’s prequel novel. And I usually love a good Alexis Hall book anyway.
Since Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands is also out in Australia now, I will probably pick up a copy on the weekend, so we might do a back-to-back cozy fantasy read-a-long… 💕

What are you currently reading?

I love that every book you’ve read so far this year has been 5 stars. ✨ be had one 2.5 star, one 5 star and one 4.5 star so far. I’m currently in the middle of 3 books. I’m reading A Court of Silver Flames, Slaying the Vampire Conqueror and Dreamcatcher.

Thank you!! I’m loving 2 of the 3 at the moment. The 3rd one I haven’t gotten far into and don’t really have an opinion on it yet but I feel like maybe I am a little burnt out on Stephen King at the moment.

YEEE, I read The Wake-Up Call and loved it!
I need to reread The Left-Handed Booksellers so I can get to book 2. I finally have Bookshops and Bonedust so hopefully I can start it when I finish a book haha
