Top 5 Tuesday topics: January-March 2022
Hello bookworms!! Welcome to the Top 5 Tuesday topics post: January-March 2022!! 2022… My, how time flies. I mean, I’m still not 100% sure that I’m prepared for 2021, and it’s basically over. WHAT EVEN IS HAPPENING?!!
But despite me slowly losing my mind at how quickly this year has gone, let’s get on with the topics for what is (hopefully) going to be the start of a great year for all of us!!
Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is my absolute privilege and pleasure to say that it is now being hosted here, at Meeghan reads!!
Top 5 Tuesday topics: January 2022
Happy New Year, friends!! We’re kicking off with resolutions and exciting new and shiny promises!!
4 January: Top 5 bookish resolutions for 2022
What are 5 bookish resolutions you want to achieve in 2022?
11 January: Top 5 anticipated reads for Jan-Mar 2022
I’ve put a date limit on this because I think it’s one we all need to look at constantly.
(I mean, how can we really be expected to just pick 5 books for the whole year?!)
Pick the top 5 books you can’t wait for in quarter one!
18 January: Top 5 books I will definitely* read in 2022
Same disclosure from 2021. You won’t be subjected to punishment (from me) if you don’t read these. But what are 5 books you really want to tick off your TBR this year?
25 January: Top 5 books that changed my life
Now that we’re looking at our new beginnings, let’s see what inspired us!! What are 5 books that inspired something great in you, or changed your life??
Top 5 Tuesday topics: February 2022
We’ve had a lovely, fresh start to the year, so now it’s time to be mean!! (Sorry!!)
Let’s look at all the things we still need to get around to…
1 February: Top 5 books I didn’t get to in 2021
Share with the class 5 of the books that you meant to read last year, but just didn’t quite get to 😓
8 February: Top 5 books that have been on my TBR since forever
What other books are you hiding on your TBR? And which ones have been there the longest?
(Also willing to accept the ones with the furthest publishing date from 2022.)
15 February: Top 5 series I haven’t finished
Let’s be honest, when I get mean — I run over myself with a steam train. Apologies to everyone caught in the crossfire. What series haven’t you finished yet (or caught up to date on if it’s ongoing) that you meant to?
22 February: Top 5 I want to reread in 2022
Slightly nicer to end the month after all this tragedy. What are 5 books that you want to reread this year?
Top 5 Tuesday topics: March 2022
It’s time for another scavenger hunt month!! Seriously, you all told me how much fun you had with the prompts from August last year. So I am here to make your wishes come true with another one!! We are doing this slightly differently as the item could be on the cover or it could be in the title!!
1 March: Top 5 books with doorways
In the wise words of Jeanette Winterson:
“Books and doors are the same thing. You open them, and you go through into another world.“
So, let’s travel to some great doorways.
8 March: Top 5 books with thrones
If you want to reign, you need a good chair. Show us the seat(s) of your kingdom(s).
15 March: Top 5 books with jewels
If you’re into shiny rocks, jewellery or a girl’s best friend, this is your week to sparkle!!
22 March: Top 5 books with clocks
Tick, tock friends!! Time is running out to find books with clocks on them!!
29 March: Top 5 books with books
It’s inception week… Find a book with a book on it. Also acceptable: letters, scrolls or notes.
As always, please link your Top 5 Tuesday posts to a specific post (not just my homepage or a category page) otherwise I won’t get a notification). Or you can share your link in the comments of either this or my post on the day, and I will collate all your responses (that I can find) and share them!!
Which prompts are you looking forward to?

Meaghan @ Hail and Well Read
Looking forward to February, when you and I both spontaneously combust while shaming our TBRs like very tired town criers. We’re such professionals!
