Top 5 Tuesday topics: April-June 2023
Hello friends!! Welcome to the Top 5 Tuesday topics post: April-June 2023!!
Friends β I’m so sorry for the delay in this post (and a bunch of others). I’m just in the finishing stages of the big project that I’ve been doing for work this year. It’s so close I can taste it!! And then I’m going on holidays for 5 weeks to the USA, which is wild. Let me know if there’s anywhere you think we should visit. BUT, the good news is that I should have time to start blogging (and reading!!) again.
Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is my absolute privilege and pleasure to say that it is now being hosted here, at Meeghan reads!!

What are the books you can’t wait to hold in your hands the most?
11 April: Top 5 books I want more merch for
What are some books that are seriously under merchandised? Or what are some books that you wish you had more merch for?
18 April: Top 5 fan theories

25 April: Top 5 books with war / battle
25 April is ANZAC Day in Australia and New Zealand, where we remember our ancestors who fought at Gallipoli in World War I. Share some books with epic battles or wars in them.

Top 5 Tuesday topics: May 2023
I might be missing my annual (or bi-annual) rewatch of Avatar: The Last Airbender, so we’re substituting for an element themed month! I’ve tried to give variant options as well, and don’t feel the need to stick with fantasy. Hopefully there are books about sea voyages, farming, forest fires and plane trips that could work in your favour!!
2 May: Top 5 books with water
Water-benders, tell us all about those lakes, oceans and seas. π§π
(Variant: blood)
9 May: Top 5 books with earth

16 May: Top 5 books with fire
We’re more into channeling Iroh than Ozai… but where are all our fire-benders at? π₯βοΈ
(Variant: lightning)
23 May: Top 5 books with air
Calm like a monk, or wild like Aang? Don’t forget to breathe deeply. π¨π
(Variant: flight)
30 May: *freebie*
Topic of your choice!!

27 June: Top 5 books of 2023… so far
Yes, we are halfway through 2023. So tell us your fave books of the year β so far!

As always, please link your Top 5 Tuesday posts to a specific post (not just my homepage or a category page) otherwise I wonβt get a notification. Or you can share your link in the comments of either this or my post on the day, and I will collate all your responses (that I can find) and share them!!
Which prompts are you looking forward to?

Love the topics. And, oh wow! Five weeks in the US is a good long time. Hope you have loads of fun. If you visit NYC, I highly recommend you visit the Strand, a bookstore, if you haven’t been there before. And I have to recommend you visit DC too. If you’re there in the spring, the Cherry Blossom trees are in bloom and look very beautiful. If you want to visit bookstores while in DC, Politics & Prose is a good one and Mahogany Books (which is Black-owned), and I also like Kramerbooks and Second Story Books (a used bookstore).
