Top 5 Tuesday – October 2020 topics
Good morning bookworms!! Welcome to the Top 5 Tuesday – October 2020 topics post!!
What a week!! I am FINALLY on leave!! And I am so excited!! However, last week’s reading and blogging efforts definitely took a hit, as I was making sure that everything at work was ready for me to take a break, so I worked late every night, and then on Saturday I was basically a potato while my brain caught up, and now I’m starting to get back into the swing of things.
So, let’s talk about October topics!! I’ve been thinking about traditional Hallowe’en type topics… but I don’t read horror or thriller books at all… so they are my spin on spooky topics!!
Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is my absolute privilege and pleasure to say that it is now being hosted here, at Meeghan reads!!
October topics
Ok, so as I said above, these are my interpretations on Hallowe’en spooky-ish topics!!
6 October: Top 5 black and orange
Tell us all about your favourite books that have black and/or orange on the cover!!
13 October: Top 5 ghosts
What are your favourite books that either have ghosts or talk about ghosts?
20 October: Top 5 witches
What are your favourite witchy books?*
27 October: Top 5 creepy characters
Somewhere to talk about all the characters who make your skin crawl!!
*I’m so hoping someone mentions The Crucible this week. No pressure. (It won’t be me, but honestly, I’d just love to see it on a list!! ?)
As always, please link your Top 5 Tuesday posts to one of my posts (not just my homepage, because I won’t get a notification) and I will collate all your responses and share them!!
Which prompts are you looking forward to?

There’s so many!! Some that I haven’t read are City of Ghosts (or at least I assume there are ghosts in it), probably a bunch of Stephen King books, the Graveyard book, and a Christmas Carol (although I’ve always wanted to read this one… but the movies are so good that I just never did – my fave is the muppets one ?)

City of Ghosts was definitely the first one coming to mind! You should read it, it is really good!

I have a weird relationship with Schwab books. I want to love them, but because of all the hype I always walk away slightly disappointed. Honestly I need someone to tell me that they aren’t that good. ??
