Top 5 Tuesday

Top 5… red, orange and yellow covers!

FINALLY! We are caught up. And not a moment too soon. I apologise to all my subscribers for the spam email you received today. I promise not to do the same with all the book reviews that also didn’t schedule during May!

Today’s Top 5 Tuesday is ‘red, orange and yellow covers’, and is hosted by the super lovely Shanah over at the Bionic Bookworm. You can visit her here!

Let’s get started!

Illuminae
Illuminae

Let’s start with a cover that is actually all three (there is yellow on the spine). Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman is a YA sci-fi novel. The first book in thee Illuminae Files and absolutely not for the faint-hearted.

The Start of Me and You
The Start of Me and You

The Start of You and Me by Emery Lord is also a good mix of all three colours, but has a white background, and a touch of pink. This is a YA contemporary novel about heart break and moving on.

Sinner
Sinner

Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater is the fourth (and post final) novel in The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy (yes, I can count thank you). It has a pretty LA sunset with the silhouette of Cole on the covers.

ACOTAR
A Court of Thorns and Roses

You can’t really go past A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas for red covers. This is the start of the ACOTAR trilogy (now series) that was originally based on a Beauty and Beast retelling.

DOSAB
Daughter of Smoke and Bone

Possibly my favourite reddish cover of all time is Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. This cover is not only pretty, but really encapsulates the start of this amazing story. That open doorway just kind of invites you in, right?

Let me know if your fave is mentioned above, or what it is if it’s not. Happy reading!
