Top 5… books I want to reread

OK, I have to say, I actually started this reread on Sunday, totally by coincidence! I finished reading The Darkest Part of the Forest, and I had to start The Cruel Prince by Holly Black immediately afterwards. I wanted to see the parts where the universe crosses over between TDPotF, the Modern Faerie Tales trilogy and The Cruel Prince. Did you know they’re all in the same universe?!
It has been a very long time since I have reread Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta, and while I was looking around my shelves just now, I realised how much I wanted to reread it. It was one of my all-time faves when I was in high school.
The Nevernight Chronicle by Jay Kristoff is an absolute must-read before Darkdawn comes out in September 2019. This series is so amazing, and if you know anything about me, it’s possibly that I just rave about it constantly… Like, all the time.
Now, the next two books (ahem, series of books) are some that I might not reread soon, but I definitely will because i love them so so so much! If you have never read either of these series, then I implore you to read them because they are so amazing. I’m not even going to say anything else about them for fear of waffling on so much you’ll either go to sleep or this will take your entire Tuesday to read.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor.
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater.

I just read The Cruel Prince a couple weeks ago, is it okay if I already want to reread it?? ? I totally wanna reread The Raven Cycle before the first Dreamer Trilogy book is published.

Yes, Yes and YESS!!! I am so keen for the Dreamer trilogy, and I’ve been binging on Holly Black’s books all year after reading TCP in January!!

The Cruel Prince is actually the only Holly Black book I’ve read. Do you have any other recommendations?

YAAAAASSSSSS!! All of them! Probably start with Tithe, Valiant and Ironside (The Modern Faerie Tales trilogy), then do The Darkest Part of the Forest (Standalone), then go back and reread The Cruel Prince. I haven’t read The Coldest Girl in Cold Town, it’s a vampire story. And I also haven’t read the books she co-wrote with Cassandra Clare, but I’ve heard good things about them.

I think some bloggers feel pressure to keep up with all the new releases. And there are so many great new releases I want to read, too! But I don’t like to lose sight of old favorites, either! 🙂
