Top 5… books I read because of #bookstagram
Today’s Top 5 Tuesday is ‘books I read because of blogs/booktube’ but I’m changing it to #bookstagram because that is where I get most of my recommendations from. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by the super lovely Shanah over at the Bionic Bookworm. You can visit her here, and join in for Top 5 Tuesday by checking out all the amazing topics we have coming up! (Also, I have a new Top 5 Tuesday banner and I’m letting you know in case you didn’t notice… I just changed the font, but I like it because now it matches the others!)
So, 5 books I read because #bookstagram told me to:
(Yes, I know this is only 4… don’t get your knickers in a knot!).
I enjoyed these books a lot, and I’ll always be thankful that #bookstagram told me to read them. I might have picked up Throne of Glass anyway, but not likely the others (and now we’ll never know). However, I will ALWAYS be most grateful to Jess, aka @litnoob, because she introduced me to the most wonderful series by an independent author that I would NEVER have found without #bookstagram. So, without further ado, let me introduce YOU to The Harmatia Cycle by M. E. Vaughan, which consists of The Sons of Thestian, and Blood of the Delphi (third book coming).

Lovely list! Throne of Glass is another example of books I picked up because of blogs. I kept seeing it everywhere and the love for SJM was real! So glad I listened to other book bloggers with that one!!!
Thanks for participating – added you to the list 🙂

It’s really great!! I’m trying to encourage everyone to read it. Epic fantasy and so many LGBTQI+ characters!

Amazing selections! I can see why bookstagrams with these lively covers would make you want to read them! I was to read “daughter of the pirate king” so badly!! ?
