Top 5… books I predict will be 5 stars!
Good morning bookworms!
Today’s Top 5 Tuesday is a ‘books I predict will be 5 stars’. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by the super lovely Shanah over at the Bionic Bookworm. You can visit her here, and join in for Top 5 Tuesday by checking out all the amazing topics we have coming up!
Uhhh… so this is basically my remaining top 5 most anticipated reads for 2019 (I have to cut it off somewhere). If I can fit it into 5 books… MWAH-HAHAHAHAHA… (please don’t be scared by my evil laughter!)
- Her Royal Highness – Rachel Hawkins
- Aurora Rising – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
- Red, White and Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston
- Going Off Script – Jen Wilde
- Midnight Beauties – Megan Shepherd
- Darkdawn – Jay Kristoff
- Permanent Record – Mary H. K. Choi
- The Seven Sisters – Neil Gaiman (no cover as yet)
- Wayward Son – Rainbow Rowell
- Call Down the Hawk – Maggie Stiefvater
- The Sky Weaver – Kristen Ciccarelli
*cough* This is totally a top 5. Twice. (Plus a non-cover so that one doesn’t even count.)
Until next time, happy reading ??

I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SOSOSOSOSOSO EXCITED FOR CALL DOWN THE HAWK AND WAYWARD SON. I’ve heard good things about most of the rest of these too, but those two are my “I will seriously cry if they don’t live up to my hopes” titles from your list ?

Hahahahahahaha!! Soooo true!!

I really hope that Aurora Rising will be a 5 star read!! I’m worried that it’s going to be too much of the same after Illuminae Files!!
Meeghan reads
Yeah, I’m also worries about that aspect. I just hope the personalities are different enough. It seems to be getting great reviews though?
The BookWorm Drinketh
I, honestly, haven’t seen any reviews on it, yet (happily!) so, ?

Wow. You must not follow Jay or Amie on Instagram. I feel almost bombarded!!
The BookWorm Drinketh
Ha ha! Nope. I do not. I actually don’t really follow any bigger authors. I tend to lean towards smaller authors. They’re the ones who’ll be big some day (if I can help it!!) I like to try to get in on the ground floor! ?
Meeghan reads
That’s fair, I do a lot of the same. The only ‘big’ ones I follow are Jay and Amie and Maggie Stiefvater. I’ve followed Jay and Amie for years though, and follow quite a lot of Melbourne authors as I live here. It’s good to know when they’re speaking at or attending events.
The BookWorm Drinketh
Too true! I don’t have many local big authors in my parts. But, I’m hoping a few that I’ve found will get there! ❤️❤️?
