September 2026 reading wrap up
September brought 10 books covering traditional fae, Catholic guilt, suspicious plot Lego, romance rereads and an increasingly elaborate Psy-Changeling conspiracy board. Apparently the Character Arc Tribunal is now permanently in session — but at least I’m having fun while I interrogate everyone’s emotional development.
August 2026 reading wrap up
August got slightly out of hand. I read 17 books for the MS Readathon, from cosy fantasy and traumatised college boys to gargoyle romance and a bittersweet classic. And somehow, an accidental theme emerged.
July 2026 reading wrap up
July's reading was gloriously chaotic: nine books spanning romance, romantasy, paranormal politics and Arthurian emotional devastation. There were redemption arcs, questionable decisions, excellent pining and several occasions when fictional characters made me cry.
