January ’20 wrap up and February TBR

Good morning bookworms! It’s time for the monthly wrap-up for January! During January I read 9 books. Which was totally fine, unless you look at my reading pattern, which was kind of a joke!! (Week 1: nothing, week 2: 7 ebooks, week 3: 1 audiobook, week 4: nothing, last 4 days of month: 1 physical book.) I was kind of all over the place with our renovations and family stuff and we had a big BBQ at our place and the fires – I mean, the fires are still going……

    WWW Wednesday – 15 January 2020

Good morning bookworms! No… you’re not crazy. I am on the second day of a hiatus, and this is my second post since the announcement. However, I had mostly written this, as I didn’t post a WWW Wednesday on 8 January, so you’re getting this anyway. (I am FICKLE.) WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words (to be updated when Sam posts), where you answer the three following questions: What did you recently finish reading? What are you currently reading? What…

    2019 WRAP-UP!!

Good afternoon bookworms! Ahhh… the dreaded annual wrap-up. I mean, it’s not really “dreaded”… it just takes me ages to write and so I procrastinate it forever. Except, this year I was pretty good at keeping my spreadsheets up to date, so *hopefully* this won’t be as terrible as my brain is making it out to be!!* PS: This is going to be another long post, so apologies in advance! * Spoiler, it was just as bad as last year!! I did NOT fill out that spreadsheet as well as…

December ’19 wrap up and January TBR

Good morning bookworms! It’s time for the final monthly wrap-up for 2019, the December wrap-up! During December I read an excessive amount of books. For me. A grand total of 18 books, which is definitely my highest monthly total for the year!! This mostly had to do with Sam @ Fictionally Sam’s Mrs Claus’ Readathon, but also probably to do with the sheer number of romance novels I devoured (why can’t I read fantasy this quickly?!*). Book Author Series Format Rating (/5) Cover Masterson Lisa Lang Blakeney The Fixer #1…

    WWW Wednesday – 1 January 2020

Good evening bookworms! By now I think most places across the world will have celebrated New Years (maybe not Hawaii). I hope you all had a great start to the year! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, where you answer the three following questions: What did you recently finish reading? What are you currently reading? What do you think you’ll read next? I must say, I scrambled a little bit to try and finish 120 books this year. I was…

End of the Year book tag 2019

Good morning bookworms! Well, it’s New Years Eve in Australia, so it’s time to do an end of year thing. I’m not *quite* ready to do all my wrap-up posts because I plan on finishing at least one more book today (maybe even two!!), so instead I am pinching this tag from the lovely Destiny @ Howling Libraries! Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish? Yes, definitely! Ones I started this year (and got more than 10% through) include: Siege and Storm – Leigh…

    Christmas book tags

Good morning bookworms! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! (It’s Christmas in Australia, ok? Your turn will come soon!!) I was tagged in 3 Christmas themed tags in the last week, and I just could squeeze them into my schedule, so I’m swapping them out for my regular WWW Wednesday and doing them today instead! Firstly, we had the Joy of Christmas book tag (tagged by Michaela @ Journey into Books), and then the Naughty or Nice book tag (tagged by Luna @ Bookish Luna), and finally the Jingle Bells book tag (tagged by…

    Top 5 Tuesday 2019 wrap-up

Good morning bookworms! I know, I know… this isn’t actually a Tuesday. But it’s also not really a Top 5 Tuesday topic, so WE ARE FINE. So… what are we doing, you ask? Well, during 2019 Shanah asked us a lot of questions. Approximately 45. And some of them required us to predict things that would happen in the future. Books we were going to read this year, books we thought would be 5 star reads, books we were going to buy, etc. So, I’m now going back to check…

    NCIS LA book tag

Good morning bookworms! Well, we’re less than a week from Christmas and this year has just FLOWN by. I’m so ridiculously behind on tags at the moment that I think I’m going to have to schedule a day of the week for them for catching up next year!! However, today’s tag is brought to us by the amazing Clo @ Cuppa Clo. Clo and I both love NCIS LA and when she said she was creating a tag for it, I basically squeeeeeed with joy, jumped up and down, and…
