    November ’19 book haul

Good afternoon bookworms! Book haul categories are as follows: book boxes book purchases (book mail, instore and digital) review copies (book mail and digital), and bookish items (book related, but not actual books). I subscribe to three monthly boxes: OwlCrate, FairyLoot and the book-only subscription for LitJoy. However, unusually I cancelled ALL THREE for October. I can’t remember what the books were, but I just wasn’t really that interested… I did receive two limited edition boxes through OwlCrate though: Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater The Queen of Nothing…

    June '19 wrap up

Good morning bookworms! OMG how are we in the second half of 2019 already?! So, I read 6 books in June (well, I DNF’ed 2, so I guess I only read 4?), and I’m trying very hard not to beat myself up for it. which is definitely my smallest monthly count for this year so far. However, I got through some review books, and that’s the main thing… (well, I’ve also already read 4 books in July, so I think I’m definitely coming up the other side of the slump!!)…

April '19 wrap-up and NO TBR?!

Good morning bookworms! We are one third into the year. Two more of these to go and we’ll be seeing 2020. (One more to go and I’ll have most of my anticipated reads for this year in my hot little hands!!!!) April wrap-up So, I read 10 books in April, which is mildly significant. (At this rate I might hit my Goodreads challenge of 90 books in October.) What is significant is that in this bunch, I had a 400+ page book, a 500+ page book, and an 800+ page…

    February '19 book haul

Good morning bookworms! We’re experiencing a really strange end-of-season heat wave in Aus at the moment, so I’ve been lying under an air-conditioner instead of reading everyone’s blog posts this week. I’m so sorry! I will catch up on the weekend! (It was 41°C today – roughly 106°F.) As per the new normal, we are splitting this into four sections: book boxes, book purchases (mail and in-store), review books (physical and digital), and bookish merch. I subscribe to three monthly boxes: OwlCrate, FairyLoot and the book-only subscription for LitJoy. Here…
