October 2020 TBR

Good morning bookworms!! Welcome to my October 2020 TBR!!

So… it’s been a hot minute since I’ve written a TBR, and honestly, sometimes I even wonder why I do it, when it is abundantly clear that I very rarely stick to them!! But there are still a couple of books that I want to read before the end of the year (and some review books that I really need to get through), and I figure what better way to share them, than by doing a list for you?!!

Of course, there is also the small matter where I am also signing up to do the Graphics-a-thon, and I likely need a sign up post for it!!

challenge books

OK, let’s start with Graphics-a-thon, because it is FUN!! And I get to put the books and prompts into a SPREADSHEET!! And you guys know I love a good spreadsheet!!

Only the first 5 prompts are the main ones, but there are an additional 3 prompts, which I may (or may not) get to…

For more info on Graphics-a-thon, please go see one of these amazing people:

review copies

OK, so… I am a few review books behind schedule… But only like 20. (Actually, exactly like 20.) So, I will aim to get through these ones in October:

  • Kingdom of Sea and Stone by Mara Rutherford
  • The Trouble with Hating You by Sajni Patel
  • You Were Made for Me by Jenna Guillaume

backlist books

OK, so I also want to finish at least one series that I have started this year (or last year…) just to tick some books off my backlist titles (and really start making a dent in my ginormous TBR)… So, these are some creepy-ish books I can add in for October feels!

  • Red Glove by Holly Black
  • Black Heart by Holly Black
  • Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw
  • The Near Witch by V. E. Schwab

Curseworkers #2: Red Glove by Holly Black Curseworkers #3: Black Heart by Holly Black Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw The Near Witch by V. E. Schwab

new books

And, finally, we come to NEW books (because we have to keep my interest in this TBR peaked somehow)!! Of course, these are all the shiny new books that I desperately want to read at the moment.

  • Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
  • Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting
  • Heartbreak Boys by Simon James Green
  • Fence: Striking Distance by Sarah Rees Brennan

Nevermoor #3: Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting Heartbreak Boys by Simon James Green Fence Striking Distance by Sarah Rees Brennan

Honestly, I doubt I will get through ALL of these, especially as that slump I was predicting finally caught up to me at the end of September… but we shall try!!

What are you planning to read in October?

until next time, happy reading! Meeghan xo
