November 2024 TBR
Hello friends!! Welcome to my November 2024 TBR. A post where I will attempt to take my best guess at what I will feel like reading for the upcoming month.
I don’t know about anyone else. But now that we only have two months left of the year, I am starting to panic hardcore about my 2024 reading challenges. Like, it’s totally not going to happen. And that’s ok. I mean, some of them will. Some of them have — like my Goodreads goal (it’s always so nice to tick that one off). But I have accepted that I’m just going to fail some. Primarily my 12 in 12 challenge. And that’s ok. (See this repeated sentence? It’s me trying to convince my brain that it really IS ok.)
My October TBR was… a 30% completion rate (I finished 3 of the 10 books on my TBR). Which is NOT a pass. But, you know, this is my life now. I did finish nine books. It’s just that most of them weren’t books I was supposed to read this month. There were some hits, but there were also some misses. And that’s the way the cookie crumbles. (Especially when you read from Kindle Unlimited…)
So, let’s go see my TBR for November 2024. That I genuinely hope to stick to. Fingres crossed!!

November 2024 TBR
Ok, we are really past the pointy end of the year. It’s now time to choose which challenges I’m going to focus on to complete, and which ones I’m tossing to the wolves. So, here’s what’s going down:
- Book Club is off the table for the rest of 2024
- I have 3 books to read to finish the On the Cover challenge
- I have 2 books to read to finish the Reading Rainbow challenge
- I have 9 books to read to finish the Fully Booked challenge
- I have 6 books to read to finish the Beat the Backlist Bingo challenge
- I have 13 books to read to finish the 24 in 24 challenge, not counting the book thats publishing date got pushed to 2025 (I gave myself a free pass on that one), and
- I have 8 books to read to finish the 12 in 12 challenge, but one of them is a 940 page book that I haven’t been able to find (and I refuse to buy in ebook because it’s more expensive than the physical copy) and one is a horror story that I am DREADING. (Hence me saying I am likely tossing this challenge…)
Because there are crossovers, I have 25 books (not counting the 2025 release) to read this year. That’s also not counting other books that are heading my way in the mail or that I have recently acquired and I want to read now.
Can I do it? Probably not, but we’re here to try anyway.
Covers should be Goodreads links. Hopefully.

HMRC is so good Meeghan! And if you like audiobooks, go for it!

Yes!! I started it a while ago, and Nicola Coughlan does all the voices 😍

Tossing your 12 in 12 challenge definitely sounds like a good idea to me. I don’t think I would want to read a horror book even if it was recommended 😳

Thank you!! I appreciate the support 😅

Those are a lot of books to read! I hope you’ll enjoy whichever books you choose for the rest of the year – it sounds like you already read plenty so I hope you don’t feel stressed!

I don’t, which is great! The reading challenges are nice, but so long as I enjoy the books I read, that’s really all that matters!

Hope you enjoy Her Majesty’s Royal Coven as much as I did!
