November ’19 book haul
Good afternoon bookworms!
Book haul categories are as follows:
- book boxes
- book purchases (book mail, instore and digital)
- review copies (book mail and digital), and
- bookish items (book related, but not actual books).
I subscribe to three monthly boxes: OwlCrate, FairyLoot and the book-only subscription for LitJoy.
However, unusually I cancelled ALL THREE for October. I can’t remember what the books were, but I just wasn’t really that interested…
I did receive two limited edition boxes through OwlCrate though:
- Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater
- The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
These aren’t the best images, but as the alternate covers are exclusive to OwlCrate there’s not really any better images out there!
*cries because I have a lot of shame over this…*
This was, without a doubt, my BIGGEST book haul of the year. I did go to two sales events and two book launches though, so don’t expect to see this happen for another year at least! I also won a giveaway for some of the books below.

Looks like you picked up a bunch of wonderful books in November! I picked up The Queen of Nothing myself and I am excited to read the second book and jump right into the third. I feel like they might be really good winter reads.

The Wicked King definitely felt like a winter read!! I would say TQoN was more end of winter, start of spring!!

Oh, I might have to time my reading that way then.

Soo many good books on here!
I just finished call down the hawk, and I really enjoyed it! And I also bought The ten thousand doors of January this month, but haven’t picked it up yet!
I really want to buy The queen of nothing and Sky weaver ASAP!
