November ’18 wrap-up and December TBR

Good morning bookworms!

It’s December!! I can’t believe another year is basically over!!

November wrap-up

During November I completed my Goodreads challenge!! HOORAY!! I read 11 books, and although this was a high number for me, this month was a bit less satisfactory than normal because I had some lower ratings.

I did roll over my TBR from October – 13 books – so while I did not get through them all, I also didn’t stick to my TBR either. Oops?!

In September I started a reading bingo that I found on Novel Heartbeat‘s blog. In October I marked off an additional 8 books, making me really close to finishing the whole thing, but YAY, I got a BINGO! The original bingo is in my August wrap-up.

December TBR

So, to start with I’ll be rolling over my unread TBR from November, as below:

  • Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
  • Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
  • Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor
  • The Land I Lost by Cassandra Clare
  • Warcross by Marie Lu
  • Wildcard by Marie Lu

I’m also going to add a few others to the list as I am taking annual leave from my job from mid-December, so fingers crossed I get a BUNCH of extra reading done! And because of how much contemporary fiction I’ve been reading, I’m going to keep adding more. BINGE THE CONTEMPORARIES DURING SUMMER. (That’s what the voice in my head tells me…)

  • Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett (Discworld read-a-thon)
  • Fence issue 12 by C. S. Pacat
  • Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
  • My True Love Gave to Me edited by Stephanie Perkins
  • My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows
  • Kat and Meg Conquer the World by Anna Priemaza
  • The Summer of Jordi Perez by Amy Spalding
  • Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella

I still need to spend some serious time finishing all my draft book reviews, which I plan on doing while I’m on holidays. I currently have 36 half-completed reviews… this is back up from last month… Fail… ?

BUT, in December, I’m going to build some graphs and show you all my progress for the year in an end of year wrap-up post!!

Until next time, happy reading! ??
