May ’18 wrap-up and June TBR
May was a KILLER month for me. And by “killer”, I mean I worked a LOT more than I normally do, so in turn, I read far less. May is always a busy month for my work, but this year was kind of beyond the normal insanity of it. This is also why I had not realised that all my ‘scheduled posts’ were scheduled for June instead of May… I’m still not sure how I managed that?! So, with that in mind, I read three books this month (and one comic). Very average effort there, and definitely not my best.
May wrap-up
FYI, I read all three of these books in the first 12 days of the month (and the comic book as soon as it landed on my doorstep), and then I haven’t really read anything since (hides in shame). Actually, that’s not entirely true. It’s taken me the remaining 19 days of the month to read 37 pages of one book. Which obviously isn’t going to be listed here! But I will add it to my TBR below.

I’m also waaaaaaay behind on blog posts due to the events of my ‘schedule’ failure…!
June TBR
Because I totally failed on my May TBR, I’m throwing out the concept for June to see if I can actually start reading again. I did start reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff on my way to his launch for LIFEL1K3, but, as I mentioned above, I literally got 37 pages through it this month. So, I guess my TBR is the below:
- Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff
- Fence Issue #7 (I’m sure this comes out in June!)
Happy reading!
