June '19 challenge wrap-up
Good morning bookworms!
Uhhhh, it would appear that I just didn’t do a challenge wrap-up for May… Classic Meeghan! Challenge wrap-ups are the post where I discern how badly I am going at each of the ELEVEN challenges I signed up for at the start of the year… (sign up posts part 1 and part 2) WHHYYYYY??? If you’re after my monthly reading wrap-up click HERE, and if you’re after my haul, click HERE. *PHEW!* All of the updates below will be my progress as at midnight 30 June 2019.
Goodreads
Read 56 of 90 books.
(Goodreads doesn’t include the beta that I read!)
Beat the Backlist
Read 37 of 50 books.
(There is a column on the original list where I have marked off the books I have read.)
Beat the Backlist Epic Reading Bingo
Slow, but steady progress… in case you haven’t figured it out, I am attempting to hit every square on this, not just a row or column. There are so many books on here that could just fill 2-3 lines, but I’m going for books that hit random prompts first to try and get the harder ones out of the way early!
Year of the Asian
Read 9 of 10 books.
(No progress since April… SHAME!!!)
Ultimate Reading Challenge
January: Free read: The Wicked King by Holly Black
February: Sports Romance: The Foxhole Court – Nora Sakavic

May: New-to-You Author*: The Hating Game – Sally Thorne
June: Fantasy*: The Eyes of Tamburah – Maria V Snyder
July: Movie Adaptation
August: Tear Jerker

October: Recommended by a friend
November: On your TBR for a long time

* uhhhh… I might be switching some of the prompts around… but only because I have only looked at this AFTER the month is over ? (Sorry Sophie!!!)

NOTE: If I read a higher star book then I will probably replace the previous book against the letter because I’m starting to read doubles and I only want top quality books on here! These will not be blue as the letter was already accounted for. I will also not be using Discworld books or novellas for this challenge.
ABC Book Challenge
A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I | J | K | L | M
Romance-opoly
I am back on board with Romance-opoly!! However, I’m not rolling dice, I’m just filling in prompts as I complete them…
BUT I did finish PINK and BLUE!! YAAAAY!! (I have no idea what this means…)
Avengers readathon
OMG. Look, I admit defeat. I just totally failed at this, I can’t even retrofit what I read to fit this. I didn’t even read books for 2 of the 4 weeks this was a thing. It was TOO MUCH!! Next year I’ll sign up for less challenges… ?
