June ’18 wrap-up and July TBR
Jeez… July 4 already and I still haven’t posted my June wrap-up! Where does the time go? I’m feeling more and more like the white rabbit every month!
I have to admit, that reading slump I was on during the the second half of May, totally spilled over into June. I didn’t read anything until 22 June (well, I read a ‘self-help’ book, but I don’t really count it). Bu then I smashed out four books and a comic in the last 8 days of the month, so it was actually pretty good reading month!
June wrap-up
Technically the last book on this list I finished on 1 July, but since it had only just slipped past midnight, I’m adding it. You can’t stop me!

I’m still waaaaaaay behind on blog posts, but I’m hoping that with work settling down a bit this will improve!
July TBR
I don’t think that I have actually completed a TBR for months now… In fact, the only thing I read from June’s TBR was Fence comic, issue 7. To be fair, I did read more of LIFEL1K3, but I’m still not finished it… and I don’t even think I picked up Stormdancer!
So, books I’m kind of planning on reading/finishing this month are:
- LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff
- From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon
- The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
- The Crowns of Croswald by D. E. Night
- The Brightsiders by Jen Wilde
It’s not a long list, and I’ve actually started two of them, and I’m keeping myself open to contemporaries because I think I’m a bit terrified of all the cliffhanger endings of my recent fantasy reads!! I’m also pretending that it’s summer here at the moment!
Happy reading! (Also, happy Independence Day to my American friends!)

They are lovely. It’s a struggle deciding which one to read next!

This is sort of a mean thing to say, but I’m glad it’s not just me that’s had a reading slump. I have hardly read anything the last few months. Xx

Can’t wait to see your reviews for this month! A few of the books you’ve chosen are on my TBR, And the darkest part of the forest and the crowns of croswald sounds AMAZING!

I’m only just into Darkest Part, but it’s amazing! I have a friend who is a real Holly Black fan, and she told me that after I finish this to go back and re-read The Cruel Prince because some of the characters in this (and in the Modern Faerytales trilogy) are mentioned. Apparently it’s all one big world! Which actually makes me love them more!
I’m waaaaaay behind on my reviews. I need to spend some time sitting and writing them!

I feel your pain in being behind on your reviews! My Goodreads list says that I’m reading about 15 books because I’ve finished a bunch of them but, I have not had time to write reviews for them! I hape I still remember the books by the time I get the chance to write them!
