Good morning bookworms!
Sooooooooo… my eleven challenges… (sign up posts part 1 and part 2) This is my January recap on how I’m going against them.  If you’re after my reading wrap-up click HERE, and if you’re after my haul, click HERE. *PHEW!* All of the updates below will be my progress as at midnight 31 January 2019.

I’m putting my NEWTs first because this isn’t a monthly check-in. I won’t post the whole table because it’s HUGE. Just the subjects that I passed with the books I read! Final grades are in BLUE!

As you can see, I didn’t end up reading any books for Divination or Potions which I’m a bit sad about because I really liked the Potions prompts. Also, I let myself off the hook slightly with Ancient Runes grade. I was going to read Jane Eyre for this one, but as it was set ‘current day’ when it was written, then I figured I could also use Anna and the French Kiss as it was also set ‘current day’, but was published nearly 10 years ago. (It’s cheeky, I know!!)

Goodreads

Read 14 of 90 books.

Beat the Backlist

Read 10 of 50 books.
(I have added another column to the original list and marked off the books I have read.)

Beat the Backlist Reading Bingo

I can only use ‘backlist’ books in this bingo, so it’s going to go slower than I want it to… But I made some good progress!

I’ve ticked off three squares on this, so I’m considering it a success…?

Meeghan Reads’ Reading Bingo – Q1 2019

Meeghan bingo Jan.png
I’ve decided that to keep this one interesting, I am only going to use physical books that I read each month, and I won’t be using the Discworld read-a-long books either. Oh, and I can’t use the same book for the same (or similar) prompt in another bingo. Still good progress though!

WOW… OK, so I think I’m doing better than I thought I would be, but I’m attributing that to having such an excellent reading month in January. Fingers crossed I can keep up the momentum!!
Until next time, happy reading ??
