December ’18 wrap-up and January TBR
Good morning bookworms!
Wow… I can’t believe another year is over!! They are certainly going by a lot faster than I recall (I know this is about being older and perception of time, etc. but it’s still feeling awfully fast…)
December wrap-up
During December I read a couple of books, although not as many as I would have liked to finish!

In September I started a reading bingo that I found on Novel Heartbeat‘s blog. In December I marked off an additional 2 squares, making me really close to finishing the whole thing, but alas, I just had too many tiles, and not enough middle-grade or dystopian fictions to complete it… The original bingo is in my August wrap-up.
January TBR
So, I shall be continuing my NEWTs reading challenge, despite the rough start! You can see most of my guesstimate TBR on that post.
I will also be commencing the following challenges that I’ve already posted about:
As well as this, I shall also be doing the ABC Reading Challenge, commencing on 6 January and I can’t wait to show you guys the books I’ve started listing!! I also found the Romance-opoly that I’m pretty keen on doing this year (especially when I’m stuck for what to read next!). Details on that one coming soon. Annnnnnd, I’ll also be introducing the first ever Meeghan Reads Book Bingo! Yup, that’s right, I’ll be hosting my own bingo, and there shall be prizes!! I know, I’m excited too, and this will all be announced very shortly here on the blog, and also on my bookstagram account.
Aside from all of this excitement, I plan on reading the following books:
- Saga Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan
- Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett (Discworld read-a-thon)
- Pyramids by Terry Pratchett (Discworld read-a-thon)
- Kat and Meg Conquer the World by Anna Priemaza
- The Summer of Jordi Perez by Amy Spalding
- Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella
- My Not So Secret Life by Sophie Kinsella
I’m going to have to go back to reading Pratchett books at the start of every month instead of leaving it to the end!!
Also later this month (or week if I’m good), you’ll get to see my 2018 year in review post. I’m still working on the graphics (the transition from using Microsoft at work and Mac at home is making my brain hurt when building graphs and pie charts) but fingers crossed I’ll complete it shortly!
Until next time, happy reading! ??

Beware Of The Reader
Good luck with your TBR!!!!

I always love that you do a chart for the wrap up. Makes it so easy to read! And I should start reading the Discworld books at the start of the month too. I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone talk about Pyramids before so I’m really curious to see how that one goes. 😀

Thanks Kathy!! I’ve been thinking of not doing it for 2019, so thank you for the feedback! xx

Best of luck! I have only read a few out of the Discworld series but loved hem so I really should read the rest!

This is all a giant re-read for me. They’re amazing and I love them!! The Witches are my fave sub-genre within the series.
