October ’18 wrap-up and November TBR

I can’t believe we’re nearly at Christmas! And 2019 is right around the corner… how time has flown this year! October wrap-up During October I read 7 books, and they were all amazing! I did add an additional column to my usual table, as I thought I should probably start marking off whether these books were on my TBR… Let me know what you think! Book Author Series Format TBR list? September ’18 wrap-up and October TBR

September wrap-up My reading month was ok for September. I read seven books, but I definitely got distracted by Sophie’s post and then I found Kindle Unlimited and I read way more eBooks than I normally do. So my TBR didn’t really go down… But I still read a some good books so I’m satisfied with my reading pile! I definitely read more romance this month that I normally do. And there seemed to be a lot more smut than I ever read in a month, but it was ok.…

August ’18 wrap-up (OWLs challenge) and September TBR

PHEW! For the first time in I don’t know how long, I read more books that I got for the month. Basically I think I now deserve a Nobel bookish prize for outstanding contributions to my TBR. Is that a thing? If not, can we make it a thing? August wrap-up – OWLs challenge results! WOOT! I got my OWLs (also known as Ordinary Wizarding Tests) by reading a book or story relating to a prompt for each of the subjects that I was interested in gaining results for! This…

July ’18 wrap-up and August TBR

I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like I’m just adding the same books onto my TBR, and then every month I have to admit that I didn’t read them (again), only to add them again for next month. I’m still kind of reading slump-ishly at the moment. Work is killing me, and I’ve been sick, and winter here is so depressing! I can’t wait for the sun to come back… July wrap-up I read more rereads than I normally do this month. This isn’t because I’m running…

June ’18 wrap-up and July TBR

Jeez… July 4 already and I still haven’t posted my June wrap-up! Where does the time go? I’m feeling more and more like the white rabbit every month! I have to admit, that reading slump I was on during the the second half of May, totally spilled over into June. I didn’t read anything until 22 June (well, I read a ‘self-help’ book, but I don’t really count it). Bu then I smashed out four books and a comic in the last 8 days of the month, so it was…

May ’18 wrap-up and June TBR

May was a KILLER month for me. And by “killer”, I mean I worked a LOT more than I normally do, so in turn, I read far less. May is always a busy month for my work, but this year was kind of beyond the normal insanity of it. This is also why I had not realised that all my ‘scheduled posts’ were scheduled for June instead of May… I’m still not sure how I managed that?! So, with that in mind, I read three books this month (and one…

April ’18 wrap-up and May TBR

April was a KILLER month for me. I read a bunch of books, some of them were average (mostly the contemporaries), but most of them were great, so it was still good. I also read most of my set TBR, so I am slowly (but surely) getting through it! April wrap-up FYI, I totally killed it for April. I’m really happy with the number of books I’ve read, but also that I’ve been posting reviews regularly. Book Author Series Format Reread? Rating (/10) The Names They Gave Us Emery Lord…

March ’18 wrap-up and April TBR

OMG, how the hell are we in April already? I still haven’t done my book haul post or unboxed any boxes I got in March and I haven’t even edited the February videos!! Where has the year gone?! So, this month saw me attend the Obsidio book launch in Melbourne, and having a ginormous 16 books signed by the dynamic duo (no, not all were for me, but most were). I also changed jobs and got a pay-rise (yay!), and the month went by so quickly I don’t even know…

February ’18 wrap-up and March TBR

Well, that was a disappointing month of reading… I did only read half the month though, as I managed to get into a two week reading slump! However, the books were all over 400 pages and I went back to work, so I can’t be too mad at myself! February wrap-up OK, so I managed to finish 5 books this month, which wasn’t terrible… Not all the reviews are up yet, but they’re coming! (I promise!!) Book Author Series Format Reread? January ’18 wrap-up and February TBR

Due to travel, I read a much larger number of ebooks than I normally do, but I also think I must have read them faster, because I seemed to tear through them, which was good as it gave me a pretty good head start on my 70 book aim for the year. Although Goodreads has been classifying each issue of Fence as an additional book, so I’m gonna need to amend my aim number before the end of the year! January wrap-up OK, so I managed to finish 10 books…
