I almost missed Potions because I couldn’t find a book under 150 pages – and at the last hour (literally between 11pm and midnight on 30 April) I just decided to reread a comic. But I…

    May ’20 TBR

Good morning bookworms! How are we already a third of the way through the year? I feel like 2020 has taken about 39 seconds, but also 6 years. I have aged 13 years since being at home. All. The. TIME. However, I can’t shouldn’t complain too much, because I know I am fortunate to still have a job – I think I would just like to take a few days off from said job and lie on the couch and read a book. Or make my new home office feel…

    March ’20 book haul

Good morning bookworms!! It’s time for the monthly book haul!! Also… cast your mind back to the start of the year when I said I wanted to keep my hauls under 10 books per month? cough Ummm… you see, that really didn’t happen last month. I think I went crazy. March ’20 wrap-up

Good morning bookworms! Let’s talk about March… ooof. I am telling you, someone needs to pull the plug on 2020 and let’s just restart this year, because between fire, floods and worldwide pandemic, I am done with 2020, and we’re only one quarter through. On a happier note, let’s talk about all the GOOD things from last month.   I read, a surprising, 9 books in March. Now, I know 9 isn’t normally a surprising number for me; however, up until the 28th of March I had only finished 5…

    O.W.L.s read-a-thon TBR 2020

Good morning book wizards and witches! IT’S O.WL.s TIME AGAIN!!! If you don’t know what O.W.L.s are then… you should read Harry Potter. OR you can watch Gintare’s video on YouTube about it!! O.W.L.s (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) are the fifth year tests, and in April we read a bunch of books that correspond to prompts the Gintare changes each year. The aim is to pick…
