Bookending Autumn: Sweater Weather

Good evening bookworms!
I’m pretty sure I warned you about how extra I am going to be this month, so, consider yourselves prepared – the double posts will happen this month. (You’re welcome!)

This post is part of Bookending Autumn 2019, which is organized by Sam & Clo! The prompt for today, “Sweater Weather” is hosted by Danielle @ Poetry Books YA! If you want to do this prompt, please don’t forget to link back to Danielle’s post!
Prompt Explanation: It’s officially sweater weather, so break them out! Name some books that make you feel warm and cozy, like a nice sweater in the fall.

I love books that make me feel all warm and fuzzy, and some of my favourites include:
The Kiss Quotient

The Kiss Quotient – Helen Hoang

This book was the SWEETEST THING that I think I have ever read. Like I’m 98% certain it gave me gum disease. I LOVED it. Reading this book was like getting a giant Baymax hug while sipping hot chocolate and a cat sits on your feet (but in a lovely warm way, not like a “my feet are so numb and hot I now have pins and needles”…)
I also recommend The Bride Test, which is the follow up novel.
Back After the Break

Back After the Break – Anita Notaro

I know I scream about the book an awful lot for a book that was published… in 2003… But, it seriously makes me cry with sadness, and then frustration, and then happiness, and then I’m really just a huge big emotional wreck for the next 3 months.
But, if you love romance or books set in Ireland, or better yet, romance books set in Ireland, where the heroine learns to be herself, and picks herself up after immense tragedy, then you NEED to read this book!!
Carry On

Carry On – Rainbow Rowell

I mean, is there anything that Baz and Simon can’t do? I would really recommend this book for every season if I could – it’s one of my absolute favourites. Ever. In the world.
Part fan-fiction, part fantasy, 100% enemies to lovers, slowest burn ever, m/m romance – I can’t scream about this book enough. Oh, and I just read the sequel, and I haven’t stopped crying yet. Or screaming. I seriously hope there is a book three.
The Raven Boys

The Raven Boys – Maggie Stiefvater

OK, so this is *kind of* cozy… As in, I think it’s a beautiful autumn read, and I would die for any and all of the characters. There’s a magical quest, but it’s set in Virginia. The boys go to a private high school, but they hang out at the local pizza joint. There’s magic and car racing and monsters and political parties. They wear suits and ties and forests and the trees speak Latin.
Also, I now want to reread this series again.

Tell me some of your favourite cozy reads!
