April ’20 book haul
Good morning bookworms!!
It’s time for the monthly book haul!! I would also just like to say that after last month’s crazy, we’re back to a much more reasonable number of books!! (And fingers crossed for a more reasonable blogging and reading schedule…)
Book haul categories are as follows:
- book boxes
- book purchases (book mail, in-store, digital* and gifts)
- review copies (book mail and digital)
* Not counting Kindle Unlimited

I subscribe to three monthly boxes: OwlCrate, FairyLoot and the book-only subscription for LitJoy. In April I skipped LitJoy and OwlCrate again. FairyLoot boxes are delayed, so I’m still missing the March and April boxes.
However, I did get OwlCrate special edition for Ruthless Gods by Emily A. Duncan!
This isn’t the OwlCrate cover, but I haven’t taken a photo of it yet…
Small number. Small numbers are good!! And I even plan on reading one or two during May!!

I have never read any of these, but looked up We Used to be Friends, it sounds really good! hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them! Last month I picked up a few books, but the one I am most excited about is The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel.

Thanks Luna!! Amy Spalding is so good. I’ve read another book of hers, The Summer of Jordi Perez, and I loved how body positive it was. I’ve been waiting for this one for ages!!

I really need to read The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, I’ve owned that novel for years but I still haven’t gotten around to it – and, okay, it’s not the only novel I can’t seem to get around to, so what’s the surprise. Let me know if you want to maybe buddy read it? Well Met is one of my favorites, I love the couple so damn much in it. 🙂 Hope you’ll enjoy all these novels!

Thanks Veronika!! I read and absolutely LOVED The Price Guide to the Occult, so wanted to read Walton’s backlist. It’s been on my wishlist with Book Dep for the longest time, but I finally decided to buy it. I’ll let you know if I can squeeze it onto my TBR soon!! x
