December 2024 TBR
Hello friends!! Welcome to my December 2024 TBR. A post where I will attempt to take my best guess at what I will feel like reading for the upcoming month.
Uhh, so, I kind of want to (for accountability and comedic reason) discuss what happened to my reading in November. But I also kind of don’t want to (because it’s SO, SO BAD). But fuck it. Let’s do it. Please be warned, there will likely be much self-ribbing.
In November, I finished FOUR books. None of which were on my November TBR. The best part of that is that I actually started EIGHTEEN books. Ten of which didn’t even get added to my Goodreads account because I read between 1-3 pages and never came back. It was not a good reading month. And the books that I actually finished weren’t even that good anyway! I had an average of 2.5 stars. There was 1 x 4 star, 1 x 3 star, 1 x 2 star, and 1 x 1 star. I don’t even know why I finished two of them.
You may have also noticed a lack of WWW Wednesday posts in November. This is why. It was also just embarassing to admit that the books I did finish were… not very good. The books I started and never got anywhere with were probably MUCH better.
Anyway, that’s enough about that disaster month. Let’s go see my TBR for December 2024. That I genuinely hope to stick to. Fingres crossed!!
December 2024 TBR
Ok friends, we have 31 days left, and I finish work for the year on 13 December. Which means I get a chunk of reaading time to finish out the year. However, I’m calling it for the challenges. I don’t even care any more. I am tired and I just want to read books that I want to read. Which really means that I’m letting my mood reader flag fly, and this post coule be entirely pointless. But also why I have like 800 books on my list.
However. I would also like to finish *some* of the books I started earlier this year just to tick some books off my currently reading Goodreads shelf. Which is currently sitting at 20 books, but should really be sitting at 30 with those extra 10 from November.
I’m also going back to book club books excause they’re fun and I’ve missed them the past two months.
Ok, all jokes aside, there are 19 books on this list. If I read 8 of them, I will consider this a success. (I’m picking 8 because 5 of them are graphic novels.)

Good Luck with finishing some of your books before the end of the year. Can’t Spell Treason without Tea is a fun cosy read so would recommend that one

oh yes I completely forgot about our buddy read but I’m here for it haha. Perfectly happy to start it after you finish work (It’ll motivate me to finish a bunch of books for the one reading challenge lol.
