WWW Wednesday – 10 July 2019

Good morning bookworms!

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

I only read purple books this week. Next week I’ll pick a different colour. 😂

    1. Painkillers… don’t take them and then organise your shelves by colour…
I do recommend the audiobook for Illuminae, it’s got a whole cast and it’s got excellent reviews. (I’m a physical book person though…)

      1. 😂😂 painkillers and any type of work are usually not a great combo.
I’m just confused as I know the series is all mixed media? Which is why I thought the book for like emails/blacked out reports (I’m trying to pull the memories from bookstagrams 😂

  1. for all we talk about judging books by covers, it’s so satisfying to see those purple covers side-by-side … even though the books don’t have much in common 😂

Eleanor Oliphant and Ace of Shades continue to hang out on my TBR, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what you think of them – and of the Kiss Quotient & Bride Test!

currently I’m reading Jade War and Keeping Lucy, both of which are ARCs that I’m enjoying, but I’m not very far into either so we’ll see I guess 🤔

  2. Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine has been super hyped and I’ve seen so many 5 star reviews, so I’m curious to see what you think of it. And lol, good luck with 6 books! I’d never be able to keep the different story-lines straight!!! Happy reading 💚

    1. Uhhhhh… it’s kind of like I’m reading a book, and then I see something shiny, and then I forget that I’m already reading 4 books and start another 2. Or I’ve “put them down to come back to later” but these ones I really do want to come back to.
