March ’19 challenge wrap-up

Good morning bookworms!

A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, remember how organised I was at the start of the year? I had my posting schedule payed out, I was weeks ahead with my posts! I even had spreadsheets that I was keeping up to date with everything including page numbers and Goodreads links! And now here we are in April and my life is falling to pieces. (I mean, that’s a slight exaggeration, but you get the picture!)

Because eleven challenges (sign up posts part 1 and part 2) clearly weren’t enough for me, you would have seen my recent additions of the 2019 OWLS and Avengers read-a-thons. I don’t know why I’m doing this any more, particularly as I’m in a potential slump? EVERYTHING IS FINE. I’m just posting things a little late at the moment!

So, this is my March recap on how I’m going against the challenges.  If you’re after my monthly reading wrap-up click HERE, and if you’re after my haul, click HERE. *PHEW!* All of the updates below will be my progress as at midnight 31 March 2019. Even though that was literally weeks ago now.

Goodreads

Read 34 of 90 books.
Great progress! I’m definitely ahead of my goal!

Beat the Backlist

Read 27 of 50 books.
Excellent, excellent. Over halfway!

Beat the Backlist Epic Reading Bingo

Beat the Backlist Epic Bingo March progress. 28 out of 81 squares marked complete.

I can only use ‘backlist’ books in this bingo, and I am choosing not to use Discworld re-read books.

Year of the Asian

Read 6 of 10 books.
Considering last month I had read 0, I am happy with this progress.

Romance-opoly

Romance-opoly board game with squares marked off as progress where prompts have been completed.

I am still behind on this one… 😓 But I recently found out that I can nominate to just do a number of squares, so look out for my update on this soon!!

Meeghan Reads’ Reading Bingo – Q1 2019

Meeghan Reads bingo progress March. 23 of 25 squares complete.

OK, I think I’m done with this one. Annnnd I’m going to skip making another one for Q2. (Lazy, I know, but I’ve got a lot going on in my life at the moment!)

Rules for this:

  • I am only going to use physical books that I read each month
  • I won’t be using the Discworld read-a-long books
  • I can’t use the same book for the same (or similar) prompt in another bingo

I am two squares off completing the entire 5 x 5 grid, but I did say I was only going to do it for the first quarter of the year.

Until next time, happy reading 😊📚
