WWW Wednesday – 10 Apr 2019

Good morning bookworms!

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

What I recently finished reading…

Kind of nothing. But this isn’t a bad thing! It’s just that I’ve been so busy this week and I’m in the middle of two really good books! So I just haven’t quite finished anything this week. No need to panic! (Yet…)

However, by ‘kind of’, I did read the short story Once At Midnight by Ashley Poston, which was the pre-order incentive for The Princess and the Fangirl. But I couldn’t read it until after I had finished Geekerella, which I read the week before!

What I am currently reading…

It’s O.W.L.s time!! I am currently reading TWO books for two separate prompts, as below.

  • Radio Silence by Alice Oseman (Defence Against the Dark Arts)
  • Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody (Transfiguration) 👯‍♀️
What I think I’ll read next…

As I mentioned before, I’m focusing on my O.W.L.s, as I really want to to try and go for Alchemist, so that means going for gold (probably unlikely, but we’ll see what happens!). I’m 2 down, 2 in progress, with 8 to go. Next up will be:

  • The Wren Hunt – Mary Watson (Herbology)
  • My Not So Perfect Life – Sophie Kinsella (Charms)

Until next time, happy reading! 😊📚

  1. Yay so excited to see Ace of Shades on your currently reading. That makes me so excited. What do you think of it so far? Also I wanna read Radio Silence. I have heard such good things about that book. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that as well.

    1. Ace of shades is not what I was expecting, but I’m not really sure what I was expecting!! I’m liking it, but I’m still quite near the start!! Hoping to finish one of them by Friday and then review next week!! 😘

      1. Hahahaha, no, I didn’t finish it. In fact, I think I’m still at about the same place. I did put it aside and I’ll get back to it later though. It was interesting, I’m just not in a fantasy mood though…
